Windows 8 - only 2 weeks left to upgrade for £25

Are you trying to backup to the C: drive or something?0
-
Not sure then. To be honest I would just copy over all the files I wanted to keep directly to the external drive rather than faffing with a backup utility.0

UK and international pricing has yet to be announced.

£189.99 after 31 January,
£24.99 before then.
It's a fairly significant difference!0 -
Indeed... 25 quid isn't too bad for the upgrade but, much as I actually like Windows 8, LOL at paying the best part of £200 for it, especially if you are currently on Windows 7, it just simply isn't worth that much.0

Agreed - it's a lot of money. For me, the £25 upgrade was a good way to extend the life of an old XP machine. At £190 I might as well have replaced the whole computer.
Which is why people should buy the upgrade Product Key now, while it's still cheap, of course.0 -
2 days to go if you do want to buy it...0

How much to downgrade from Vista to XP? Seriously!0
-
How much can you find a legit copy of XP on eBay for? Microsoft aren't selling it any more.
Good luck finding one that isn't pirated.0
