    Thanks for the helpful posts.

    Mike, I have a gmail account but I do not buy apps.

    So, once I have an account with Google music, I be able to upload the 1000s of songs I have built up over the last 10 years and stream them as and when.

    Are there any conditions I need to be aware of?

    You need to install a program (Music Manager) and make sure your files are correctly tagged. There's also this little problem to consider...
