Weird phone calls

I keep getting a company ringing asking me to take part in a short survey, they know my name, address and house number. Each time that I agree to take the survey they ask me my date of birth. I haven't given it to them because it sounds like an Indian call centre. I'm not in the phone book so I have no idea how they have my information, any ideas?! I was going to google the number but they always ring on an untraceable number.

Why do you agree ?????0

Just say sorry I refuse to do the survey and please dont call again, thank you and end the call. Could be someone trying to get more info from you to sell on information on people is worth lots of money or it could be a scammer0

I tend to just say "Sorry I'm TPS Registered" and put the phone down before they can get another word out

Next time they call, try this:
- Tell them that the person they're after has moved.
- Ask them if they want the new number.
- If they say yes, use a number from here.

Tps only covers calls generated from within the UK. Calls from India aren't covered.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0
