Why are you bowing to pressure? It is your wedding day.

There is currently a thread on the family and marriage board about someone regretting their wedding day due to various reasons - and family making you feel you 'should' do certain things on your wedding day just adds to the pressure and it becomes their wedding day, and not yours.

Don't end up disliking your own wedding day because it was more how your mother wanted it, than how you did

I got married at the beginning of April and had my husbands nieces as bridesmaids they looked lovely and were great all day so no regrets after the wedding better than causing a war and bad feeling it wasn't that much effort
