Good evening, not sure if i've posted this in the right place but I know a lot of financial advisers/paraplanners and general financial services employees use the forums. I'm a paraplanner for a small financial adviser firm who uses the Avelo 1st software, version 10, and am the main person in charge of running commission statements (now known by most as the e-remuneration wizard).
We have been unable to close down the November period now since pretty much the end of November due to an issue with a statement we tried to run which had adviser charges and basically messed up our entire back office system. Have any other financial advisers had this problem? It doesn't seem to be public knowledge but from talking with our IT experts (externally hired and paid for) they believe that this wouldn't be an isolated incident.
We have found Avelo to usually be very good (except for being very costly) but the recent treatment we have had from them is appalling, and we've been given an 'interim' fix that will cost us thousands in IT fees to implement as Avelo won't be ready to fix this for another 2 months probably!
Sorry for the rant but I really would like to get some opinions from others who use Avelo version 10, specifically anyone who does use the e-commission or e-remuneration wizard to get electronic statements. We as a company just don't know what to do now and this has come at the worst possible time with RDR and everything else going on.
Thanks.

I realise it might be a bit off topic but more likely for them to see.0
