I agree the price drop is a poor show, but I do agree with Wallbash that this time of year I think I'd rather pay £3 and let someone else have the hassle.

One of our cars blew a headlight bulb the other week, it's a fiddly job that involves kneeling down to manoeuvre your hand in exactly the right place. OH has big hands, mine are small and I have long fingers so I can pop a bulb in a lot quicker than he can (much to his annoyance) lol
  • my bf paid the £6.99 recently as to change his bulbs means going through the wheel arch or removing the entire bumper. it took almost 40 mins of the guy laying on the floor in the pouring rain to change it.

Couple of years ago I was heading out to visit my Mum, OH was on the drive, on hands and knees trying to fit a bulb into our old car. I saw goodbye and left.

Was quite surprised when I got back an hour later to find him in the same position I'd left him in, only a lot more annoyed and swearing quite a bit. His face when I leaned in and popped the bulb into place first try was quite priceless :D
