Sim Only Help!

Options
Hi,

I have been accepted for 30 day rolling sim from T-mobile due to bad credit, cannot get a phone.

They have advised 6 months payments before I can upgrade.

My question is, if I were to pay them 6 months payments this month, could I upgrade then? or do I have to pay it every month consistently before upgrade?

Thanks in advance

Its normally 3-6months, you'd have to pay every calendar month before they can re-consider you.

    Hope this helps.

Ask them, but unlikely IMO. It's mainly not a matter of money, but a matter of managing it, i.e. paying in time.

What phone is it? Buying it sim-free/PAYG and and using on sim-only/PAYG deal can be a cheaper option sometimes.

It is quite an expensive phone but I think I will save up and buy payg and then in 6 months upgrade to a better phone or downgrade my tariff with t-mobile for a cheaper option on a sim only plan

    Thanks for the advice :)

I agree. Paying it each month just shows that you can efficiently manage your money. Hopefully after that period of time, you will be able to upgrade and generally improve your credit rating.

    Thanks.
