EE broadband best package..? How is the service..?

Look out for a Broadband deal..EE is the one..?
Hi all,
After using O2 BB for 2 years I am looking for a good broadband deal. O2 servicewas alright but existing customers never get best deal. so switching now.

Looking at options I found EE best so far.
EE Off peak (existing T-Mobile customer)
Unlimited BB
Line Rental (£14/month)
BB - £5/month
Total for 1 Year (19x12) = 228- 30(EE welcome credit)-100 (Q****cash back) =98/12 = £8.1 (BB +rental) per month
Looks good deal:money:, but questions I have..

Q1. How terrible is EE broadband service?
Q2. How terrible is EE customer service?
Q3. Cash back from Q**** is real/dependable?
Q4. Since most ISP are increasing charges, EE already done that? or planningto do that now?
Q5. Do I need to topup my T-Mobile often to get this discount..? I got various answers from call centres..!!!
Q6. How many simultaneous connections can be done on EE router..? 4 or 8 or32..I got different answers from different call centre guys..O2 box allows 4 connections.
Q7. How soon EE connections done..?

Thanks.

Not sure about their package but the BB can be sluggish at times and I have problems occasionally accessing my email account (not to mention they change the allowed combo for log in password recently and didn't bother to inform me so my password did not work and I could not get into my account and it took a few days to get a response).
But I guess they are on par with other BB providers as no one has all good to say about any one company.
Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.

It's just a resold BT Wholesale service, with all that implies...
Why not just negotiate a better retention deal with 02? The half price/6m free offers are not difficult to obtain as long as you speak to retentions, not CS.

  • O2 offered half price deal, but still not as good as EE deal + Q*** cash back. Also being an O2 customer for nearly 4 years i want to check others as well. O2 was very good deal with support. If your box is faulty will get a replacement in 2 days...!!

But looks like EE got better box as well. Though already they proved their customer service is worst. Still not decided.

Yes, it may be cheaper. But the service is infinitely worse. You are going from one of the best rated ISP's to one of the worst.
Only you can decide how much saving that is worth.
