Frustrating visit to the solicitor, apparently I have no legal rights to Iain's estate, so the kids need to make applications to be executors, and for the necessary paperwork from the court to claim the estate, then if they want me to have any they need to either say they dont want it and pass it to me, or inherit then give it away, so will need to make an appointment for them, solicitor only in office 2 days a week, both of which DD usually works, so will be fun! Also need to take him my copy of the title for the house till he ensures it wont form part of the estate. Fun and games....then went to pay the funeral bill as it came today along with an inheritance tax form...well I say form, seemed lengthy but has been left with the solicitor!RIP Iain

Thank you Donny - hope you have a good trip.
I have been on a decluttering mission and today DD took a bag of unwanted meds to the chemist for disposal, 4 bags of books and three bags of bedding to the charity shop and some Amaz0n parcels to post. Hopefully we will continue the good work.
Jools - life is so bl00dy awkward and bureaucratic. Hugs xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

Good evening everyone
Have just realised I haven't paid a visit today as was so busy in work.
Dinner is left over pulled pork with fried rice, peppers and some green chilli. I need a bit of spice to warm me up in this weather!
Flying visit as I need to get moving with the cooking so will leave with well wishes for all sick people and pets and hugs for those who need or just want them. Evening everyone
Late again posting. Still enjoying my new job, the kids are fab, now seeing their characters coming through. Things are slightly better at home at the minute, will try to keep talking to dh rather than arguing.
os today dinner cooked gammon, chips and egg (lovely). dw loaded and put on. all worktops cleaned. ds2 uniform sorted for tomorrow.
also helped ds2 with 2 lots of homework. He hates it and creates so much to try and get out of doing it but it is now done. Took over an hour.
Jools ((hugs)) Can't believe there is so much bureaucracy in sorting everything out.
LW & Molly ((hugs))
Beemuzed - thinking of you and your dh.
Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take Care.0
