Barclays Basic Account Issue

I applied for barclays Cash Card Account, I was told when she submitted it came back as a code 2,

What is a code 2, Why wasn't i accepted for the most basic bank account.

I dont even want credit facilities. I just want a basic account with a visa debt.

Yea she said it would take 48 hours for a decision from the department who deal with accounts.

I think its referred, But Its a sad day that i cant even open a basic bank account.

Also i dont have any cifas logs, Im not a fraudster.

How do you know you don't have any, have you checked your credit file's.

Just go to your local building society instead. Take in I'D and come out with passbook or cash card account

    Job done.
    For everthing else there's mastercard.
    For clampers there's Barclaycard.

Well I had a nationwide account open with card etc , Got a letter saying they were closing it cause of security checks, The agent kind insinuated i would misuse the visa debt card.

But no i dont have any cifas markers on my credit file.

So you have checked with experian/Equifax to see if thats the case?

Try a local independent building society, get passbook account or Cash Card acc

Need to know if you have actually checked your credit file.

If Nationwide have closed an account and now Barclays have deferred a decision, I'd hazard a strong guess that you have a CIFAS marker on your account. As the others have said check your credit record,

yep on the voters roll, and i have a credit expert and equifax.

I have a few defaults from previous banks like HBOS and RBS.

But no fraud or cifas markers.

Although a few years ago i found a loop hole with interactive investor and RBS solo card which allowed me to withdraw 20k to my RBS, The guy i spoke to said i would get a cifas marker for fraud but i dont see how its fraud, But im not seeing any marker.

Can they put a marker on me like only the bank systems can see it.

I will tell the truth so i can get the best answer.
