Lakeland ltd. artificial flowers

Options
Does anyone have a Lakeland ltd artificial flower arrangement. I'm looking for a pressi for my grandma's 100th birthday and thought a nice everlasting flower display would be nice. The lakeland ones look very nice in the brochure but seem quite expensive, ( though I suspect a top of the range 'real' one wouldn't be much cheaper ) does anyone have one or has seen them in the store or know of somewhere i can get the same cheaper?
Thank you
PS the one in particular is on pg 5 of the latest catalogue, for any other lakeland addicts out there.

I have had flowers from Lakeland and they are very nice (bought in sale!).
Are you sure your Grandma likes artifical flowers? My Gran wouldn't give them house room, no matter how realistic, but my Mum loves them.

If they are life like enough she will like them, though these days she's so confused she probably won't notice :(
A friend has suggested I try 'country basket' nr leeds which is an interior design wholesalers which she has a card for. Has anyone bought anything from there?

I have had artificial flowers in the past from Lakeland, and although I agree that they are expensive, they were better quality and more lifelike than others . They looked good for years and I couldnt bear to get rid even when they started showing their age, because i couldnt find anything half as good to replace them. lakeland also used to sell a dried flower cleaner and a spray on scent which were also very good.

I agree the lakeland ones are realistic, and come in nice arrangements

I've been to Country Baskets, they have a huge selection of silk and dried flowers, but I'm not good at doing arrangements so I didn't buy anything. I have an arrangement from Lakeland and it's lovely, I bring it out when the flowers are in season and then bury it in a cupboard for a few months. I also have some of the cleaning spray that they sell and can recommend it.
  • Thank you all very much. I'll definately go with lakeland. Ive had a browse round the web and not found anything comprable, (except for a site in America ) It's also a good excuse to stock up on the little bits and pieces from lakeland that otherwise aren't worth getting because of the postage and if I can get a friend to join in the order I can half the postage or even get post free and a free gift.... Can feel a lakeland frenzy coming on. Better hide my debit card. : )
