I am trying to fill in an application form, the problem is that when I complete the declaration and enter the date the form then enters that date in other boxes automatically. If I delete the date from the boxes where it is not required it deletes the date from the declaration also.

Autofill is off. Is this something I am doing wrong or is it the fault of the person who set up the application form? Hope someone can help please... I am not very technical minded but can follow basic instructions Closing date is 18 Jan so any help would be appreciated.

I'd be inclined to blame everyone who thinks PDF is a viable format for electronic application forms.

Best bet? Print it out, fill it in.

Thanks, but the employer has set up the form by pdf and is not accepting the form by any means other than email

You could probably scan it back in as PDF...
