I recently bought flights with easy jet, they took their money and so did opodo. However a company called edreams has also taken money from my account, I have cancelled my card etc but is there anything I can do? Coop bank are looking into it, I am furious.

Have you contacted edreams to query why they have debited your account.
Seeing as you have booked a holiday, edreams are connected to the holiday industry.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0 -
Did you at any point give opodo or edreams your card number? If not, I'd be telling the Co-op that these are fraudulent transactions and that they're required to refund the money, not just "look into it"0

I booked my tickets through opodo. I had never heard of edreams before I googled the name when I saw it on my statement.
And the only contact for edreams is a £1.53 p/m phone number.
Coop don't seem interested in the slightest, they only cancelled my card because I demanded it.
The transactions i expected to see on my account were easy jet £196, opodo £30.97 not edreams at £30.96??0 -
Opodo and edreams are the same company. They merged in 2011. If you have a cheaper phone number to call then talk to Opodo. But first make sure that these are completed transactions, not just card authorisations.0

When you buy something online (and often in shops) the retailers contacts your bank to ensure you have sufficient funds for the transaction. They "earmark" those funds in order to ensure that they will get paid.0

Oh I see what you mean, but no they have actually taken the money0

Then you need to get back to the bank and ask for a chargeback.0

Remember that a chargeback is a two-way process. Your bank will refund you the money and send you something to sign and return to confirm the transaction was not legitimate. They will then contact the retailer with the chargeback, and the retailer may argue that you made the transaction yourself and supply documentation as evidence. If this happens you can end up being debited the money again.
Speak to Opodo first. It may clear things up and it is entirely possible that their transaction has shown as "edreams" on the statement.0 -
From what the op is saying both edreams and opodo have debited almost identical amounts. I suspect the authorisation was made under one name, but finally transacted as the other, hence my questions about authorisation.
The OP is adamant both amounts have left her account rather than just been authorised, hence my suggestion for a chargeback. Either way, it may focus Co-ops mind on explaining what has happened here.0
