Contract does not allow picture messages.

Hi
Having now received my phones contract paperwork, I note that it does not allow the sending of picture messages, MMSs.

It did not even seem to be allowed with an additional monthly charge?

Anyone now any way round this?

Thanks for any advice.
M

    Define allow them?

They not likely to be included as part of your messaging allowance (they rarely are) but I'm sure you'll be able to send them and be charged individually for them.

Learn to use the data function of the phone and email them to your friends and family.

    Hi
    Thanks for the input.

The welcome letter, to sumarize states:

"What charges are out of my allowance?
Some usage will be outside of your allowance and you'll be charged.......

Most numbers beginning 08, non-standard 07 numbers, 09 numbers, calls to 0800, 0845, 0870 numbers and MMS's (picture messages), international calls, texts and picture messages or using your phone aboard aren't included..................."

In hindsight, maybe I have misread this and I can send picture messages but will be charged.

Is this how you read this?

If I send the picture via email, would this come out of the monthly data allowance?

    Thanks
