Has anyone tried Hotmax fuel logs?

We are just starting to use out 2 multi fuel burners and are experimenting with fuels.
I'm tending to use kiln dried logs, for a couple of reasons I won't bore you with, but am trying to combine these with other fuels (due to cost).
I've tried a couple of bags of Hotmax, which is a pressed wood chip type thing, made from the byproducts of the company's horse bedding business. They seem to burn well, produce lots of heat, but burn pretty quickly.
Just wondered how other people had found them?

Have had a few bags of these in the past. Wouldn't bother again. Just find a good supplier of properly seasoned hardwood logs and smokeless fuels.0

Couple of my briquette customers have tried Hotmax - weren't impressed! We've also sold cheap briquettes in the past - customers weren't so keen on them either - they all reckoned the "expensive ones" we normally sell worked out a lot cheaper to use in "real life" as they lasted so much longer.
Basically - any of the small "nugget" type briquettes will be pretty short lived - doesn't matter what type of wood they're made of either - another customer tried some made from "100% Oak!" - but they were small and pretty soft - and he said he wouldn't buy them again.0
