Have got 4 contracts with virgin mobile ( and we also have Virgin media for TV , Phone and B/B) and wonder whether I have got a good deal or if I should see if if I can a better deal.
I have 2 contracts and 2 30 day rolling contracts ;

1. Virgin £15-32 web deal 500 texts , 100 minutes , 500mb data and 300 virgin to virgin minutes.This is a 2 year contract that is up in July 2013

2. Virgin blackberry £20-43 3000 texts , 200 minutes , 1gb data and 300 virgin to virgin minutes.This is a 2 year contract that is up at the end of this Month.

3.Virgin £15-32 30 day rolling contract (had it for about 5 years) 500 minutes and 3000 texts.

4. Virgin £7 sim card only 30 day rolling contract upgraded recently from £5 sim card (which had 3 years)

My monthly outlay for them all is approx. £60-70 and dont usually go above the allowance except for minutes on no. 3 ( which is a contract I take out for my mum).
I am wondering if I could change no. 3 for the £12 sim only (1200 minutes and 1gig data etc) ?
I am unsure whether to cancel contract on no. 2 (my wifes) and buy a handset and take out the same £12 sim only or whether to see if I can get a better phone and package.

Any comments appreciated thanks.

    DH & I have been with virgin for a couple of months now.

    We started out on the Essential Sim only £12 per month (150 mins unlimited texts plus unlimited - tetherable - internet) and Essential Sim only £17 per month (1200 minutes, unlimited texts plus unlimited internet.

    After a month I renogotiated both contracts to Starter Sim only £15 - discounted to £10 - per month (250 minutes, unlimited virgin to virgin calls, unlimited texts and unlimited internet).

    I was reading this http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/virgin-mobile-essential-sim-only-1200min-unlimited-text-unlimited-data-9-00-month-1441388 yesterday and wondering whether I should call again or not. I'm quite happy with the deal we have but greed is a powerful emotion :p

    It would seem that by doing a little homework and making a couple of calls you may be able to save a fair bit each month ;)

    Thanks , saw the post on HUKD and thought I might be able to get a better deal.
    Am planning to ring them later and certainly ask to change to the £12 sim (1200 minutes) for number 3 phone and if I can persuade my wife to buy a handset , get her the same sim as well.
