    Afternoon all.
I have a strange mixture of leftover chicken, chorizo, peppers, onions, tomatoes, gravy and barbecue sauce bubbling away, comforting warm stew type thingy for the cold weather, goodness knows what it will taste like but it smells great. DS back to work this evening, no doubt will have DD and boyfriend for dinner. Cold but sinny day, hopefully we miss the white stuff as its so hilly where we live and although on a main bus route the streets are very narrow so dont get gritted in a hurry!

Am knackered. Hardly sat down today, went shopping, spent £78 in a
Aldi which is a lot but bought free range chicken, 6 pack of chicken breasts, turkey mince, chorizo and Parmesan. In true MSE style I portioned up everything, including the Parmesan which I grated into 7 portions. Then put vac round, knee deep in dog hairs. How can she shed so much and NOT be bald.

Snow melting and has been replaced by rain. Sweet joy <rollseyes>

Looming forward to carbonara tonight, treated myself to some bacon lardons to add to it. Suspect there will be enough for lunch tomorrow :D

Right better get my butt into gear, laters.

    Afternoon All

Cold here but it's been a beautiful day, icy this morning but brilliant sunshine. Thinking of you all struggling with the snow.

Work then swimming, just put my bedding in to wash so will have to put clean on in a minute. Turkey breast something for tea, not sure what yet. Off to a Village Hall committee meeting later (deep joy!).

    Take care. XX

    Evening all,

A bit of snow for us in Manchester but its seems to be disappearing as fast as it came.
Dh managed to borrow a car to do his work today, and we have an auto electrician coming tomorrow:( more expense.
I managed to sleep last night fairly normally although dh was up a lot in the night, hence he is fast asleep now after his first day back at work. Will let him sleep until 6 then wake him up and feed him.
Tea tonight is pork steaks pasta and salad. I know it's cold but I like salad:D
I can't cope with animal hair I'm very very allergic, although I love dogs I'm not allowed to touch I suffer so much afterwards.
Been working on our budget and completed a SOA which shows a big shortfall, pretty scary but at least we know we're we stand and how much extra needs to be earned. Meanwhile I'm cutting back wherever I can.
Hugs for anyone who needs one, keep warm J x

Julie - i'm scared to do our SOA, at least now you know where you are.
My cats are the same, for such small animals they produce a massive amount of hair.

I am well and truly shattered and legs feel like splinters.Went to the safeguarding meeting today and it was very informative. The two people who asked questions about bullying, travel to school were very good and actually took notice.
They said tomorrow they were meeting heads of local schools to discuss practices. I told OH what i said about bullying, and he said about time. He also told me to keep out of it if some witchhunt starts at the school looking for the snitch. Lots of other areas discussed like children walking out of schools, escorts for buses and support for children with special needs. But the general theme was with the lack of support and communication between school and parents alike. so hopefully something good will come out of it. If not well we tried.

Went to musclosleketal clinic and what a fat load of rubbish it was too, just like i thought. The supposed GP with an "interest in bones" was of no help. Instead he just twisted my legs and said oh i think you should have go orthopedics. When pressed for a reason for my lack of mobility in such a short period of time. He said muscle atrophy and when i asked what caused it he said he didn't know and said the loss of feeling in my legs was unusual but nothing to worry about. So now its a waiting game. Just wish my OH could have with me but he was working, luckily he picked me up with the wheelchair. He was fuming when i told him what was said.

The parents evening at ds2's school went okay and got to the bottom of the lack of support. Turns out it wasn't only meant to be filler for christmas. The teacher also said ds2 told her about his project using using pictures which she encouraged as she wanted it to be fun for him before xmas. She also went to say he did much more work than others in his class. She just wishes he could put it on paper and he is steadily improving. So it went well but still areas to improve, OH got heavily involved which was good.

OH is out on a job so better see what were going to have for dinner.
