You could probably buy a very similar bag elsewhere for a fiver.
I do hope people will use it instead of platic bags for their shopping- but after paying $200 on e-bay for one the function of it might not be so obvious to them.Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

Huh? £200 for a bag?
Now that really is silly
No it isn't ! it's being GREEN !
Doesn't matter how much it costs: if it is green, has a small 'carbon footprint', uses renewable energy, a politician is putting one on his roof, or the 'grauniad' says it's good for the environment, you MUST buy it !

We really have reached the heights of lunacy with Sainsbury's "green gimmick" of designer non plastic bags at £5 a throw.
Even better was the letter in Sunday's paper from someone who was determined to get one; they queued early at Sainsbury's, got the bag, took it to the checkout, where the checkout operator carefully folded up her new bag and put it in .................... A plastic carrier bag !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You really couldn't make it up !0 -

Really green innit - we should have a "first person to spot one being used for groceries" contest. I suspect most of the buyers will be back in Tesco and Asda asking for plaggy bags by now...0
