You need to clarify what you are o about, do you mean the mains plug has a usb port? If so then the answer is yes, note this will work with many USB devices and not just the iphone 4s

the Kindle plug is a usb plug............i only have iphone usb cable so thought it might work though wasnt sure enough to test it

Hi there, You can't use the Kindle plug for the iPhone.

Yes you can charge it like that, all USB chargers are the same (to an extent, they're all 5v with a varying mA rating) although though some will charge faster than others.

Correct! If you check that the voltage is the same then you can plug your iphone cable into it. It shouldn't make any difference at all, hence why you can buy knock off chargers of ebay and they do the job.

Trouble is with the fake ones is this can happen!!





As well as being a copy, this one was designed for an iPhone and was used to charge an iPad which needed a higher rated charger
