Hi everyone,

Before I start " I know there is another thread about PayforIt in here but everyone either got refund by other network or being on pay as you go but my mum is on contract and been charged over £150 over 7 month."

Yes my mum being over charged £5 a week over 7 month ( she has been abroad for 4 month and her phone was off).

So I phoned 3 and I asked why and what is this charge for, he replied its PayForIt and you clicked on a website and agreed and confirmed to pay for the service however she never used any thing on her phone except making phone calls and listening to music.

anyway after a long conversation with 3 over the phone and asking for manager (very rude and ignorant), they replied there is nothing to do with three and I should email PayForIt (there is no phone number) and solve my problem with them, but i said three is charging me not payforit but he replied it is what it is three can not do anything about it, and they are still charging her £20 a month, and saying three cannot stop this :mad::mad:

I wonder if I can do anything about it like stop my direct debit

Stopping a DD is a very easy thing to do, but this will not solve the original problem and will create new problems.

If there is another thread here, I think there is some info there on how to try solving the main problem in the first place.
We are born naked, wet and hungry...Then things get worse. :(

.withdrawal, NOT withdrawel ..bear with me, NOT bare with me
.definitely, NOT definately ......separate, NOT seperate
    should have, NOT should of
    .....guaranteed, NOT guarenteed

I'd ask Three for the proofs that I did subscribe for something. Then I'd complain to the ombudsman or, maybe, sue Three via online small claims court. Without proofs and without my aouthorisation to charge me for anything except mobile service they provide, they don't have a leg to stand on.

its not 3 charging you, they are being invoiced and adding the charge to the bill. Its like paying a continues payment on a credit card. Not sure about 3 but other networks have the option to block all third party charges.
If you keep on doing what's you've always done, you'll keep on being what you've always been...

I thought I made it clear: "this will not solve the original problem and will create new problems."

Feel free to do this if you don't mind Three trashing your credit file(s).

It's their problem, not yours, that they cannot. They are in cahoot with Payforit and share the proceeds.

The simple fact is 3 are taking money from you mother's account and feeding you the proverbial crock of crap....

PayForIt is a company that is owned, setup and operated by 3 and the other main Networks.
Their phone number is 08458341119 (expensive from mobile). This number also generates extra revenue for the Networks.

Payforit is now regulated by PhonepayPlus where it is important you make your complaint.

ps. do you have the shortcode for this 'service'?
