Hello All,
I've been on Match for a few weeks now.
I'm happy with my profile and also think I have some natural looking photos which really look like me (!!). These were all on holiday or in social settings, so not posed shots.
What I want is a proper professional pic of me looking really glam too. I need this in digital format so I can upload it to Match. I'm sure I've seen deals on Groupon and the like in the past for about £20 but I can't find anything now!
I live nearish Bristol so no problem to go there.
Does anyone have inexpensive suggestions?
Thanks,
M

Personally I would stick to natural photos that show the real you rather than contrived ones .0

Don't do the glam photo thing, Honestly, its really corny.
Just pick natural photos where you're smiling and look happy, its the real you who'll be showing up for the date after all!0 -
You don't want your date's first reaction to you to be disappointment because you don't look like your glamorous photo!
Aim for the natural look.0 -
Agree with the above. I take it that you are not a glamour model so why pretend to be one. Using a glammed up photo to attract a fella is a little bit deceitful. Just smile and be yourself.
IlonaI love skip diving.

Don't do the "glam" photo.
Lots of my fb friends have had these "glam" photos done and look nothing like they do in the pics, in real life.0 -
Agree with above - Its obvious its a glammed up shot and always just ignore them and move on. They are not natural and I am always a bit suspicious if I see them. Some of them are so set up they are laughable.
If you want some glam shots for yourself go for it but wouldnt use them on a profile.0 -
Don't do it, it won't make you look glamorous, just desparate..................
....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)0 -
I only thought about it because other people seem to have a collection of photos - natural unposed ones, and a few more glam ones.
Mine are all natural and unposed. I don't want to be deceitful, just to show that I can scrub up well if called for !!!!0 -

Best for that is one of you all dressed up but for a real life special occasion, not an invented one in a studio where you'll look a bit silly.
You want photos that reflect YOU, so if you usually live in hiking boots and only put a frock on every 5 years then put pictures of yourself in hiking boots.
You want to attract men you'll have things in common with, and who are attracted to what you're like, not what you look like.0 -
i think you mean that you want a professional with a good camera to take a decent shot of you and show you in your most attractive 'light' w/o the need to Photoshop you or anything else. yes?
or do you want all that airbrushing and the sterile, forced smile with the naff backdrops that photography studios do? (think Venture is the one you've been thinking of)0
