Options
Hi,

Does anyone use top cash back here?

I just joined need some advice...two things I am interested in:

One is free credit report (i do actually want to see mine) so I am gonna do a free trial with one of them..Is it right that I will get £7 to take out a free trial and then cancel it?

Lovefilm...do a similar thing, I am more than happy to try love film for 25 days. Anyone with knowledge is it the same take out a free trial and cancel and get some money for the OP ?

Thanks in advance

Been there, bought the t-shirt. Hopefully you joined through a referral?

Done both the offers you mention, no problems although if you want to trial love film there are better offers available normally like 3 months free.
    I think....

Does it work then? Yes a friend refereed me.

Sound too good to be true, join watch a few DVDs and then leave and get some money.

    Is it really that easy?

Some of the offers *are* that easy, but there are a few factors to consider/things that can go wrong:
    • The cashback may not track
    • The retailer may refuse to pay your cashback (there are a variety of reasons for this and the process isn't very transparent)
    • You may forget to cancel in time and end up spending your own money. £7 cashback isn't so hot if you end up paying £6 for a months membership

Where I'd maybe advise steering clear are gambling introductory offers. I know that matched betting fans will probably disagree, but I find betting/casino/bingo cashbacks to be a total PITA to actually utilise.
  • Hi, Yes I think I will avoid all the betting things too.

I like the DVD and Credit file, as I often rent DVDs and need to look at my credit file.

I wonder if there are other good ones out there.

Those sorts of ones are a great way to get started. Like a few folk on this forum, I started out on the DFW board. When you're paying off debt, these sorts of offers are part of the standard syllabus :D
  • Hi Version, I do anything like that which makes sense and allows me to OP.

Survey sites, S&S funded Xmas 2012 and will fund this Christmas too.

The Grabbit board often has things like that.

£co do check ins and also if you register cards with them, when they are used in certain shops you get cash back as well.

P!neCone is another good one to search for. It took us ages to get in, but it pays well and is consistent.

Sorry for going of TCB topic, I got a bit carried away

    Good luck. Tilly

  • Hi Version, I haven't kept any of the links, as you have to go through anther site to register and sadly I can't remember where I got it from.

I would search in the forums for both, as there will definitely be threads on them

    Good luck, Tilly

To join shopandscan you need an invitation number from them. Just go to https://www.volunteer4panels.com and register. They will then, at some time in the future, send you an invitation number to join.

I've been doing ShopandScan for a few years now and have also been invited to join their PetrolPanel and Out of Home Shopping Panels. All which give you points which you can use for various vouchers.

I'm fairly sure that for Pinecone you need a referral.
