Purchasing iphone5 directly from Apple for DD. We had a sim only deal from orange at £12.50 pm for 180 mins, unlimited texts, 500 MBs data and Bbm.

As out of that contract, Orange have offered 300 mins, unlimited texts, 500 mbsb data (some sort of cap on hotspots) for £10.50 pm for a 12 month contract.

Can we do better? Am absolute beginner on phone contracts! Contract is not used for c4 months per year as DD comes home and would be on roaming rates so has a local sim.

Thanks for any advice given.

Tesco or GiffGaff both do better deals for £10 a month. GiffGaff may be better as the months as it's PAYG and you buy a goodie bag, when you want to get the bundles, so the months it's not used you simply don't buy the bag and don't pay the £10 a month. You'd nee dot check there terms on how often you need to make a call, it may be it can be left for the 4 months with no further cost, or you'll have to make one call after 90 day to keep the line alive.
