I have noticed they have changed some of the ATMs now to Lloyds branding at some of the branches.

It looks like they have started work on the re-branding of the other branches now:

I've not been in the UK for 3 weeks, but the rebranding had started at Sawbridgeworth and Hertford before I left, but not at Bishop's Stortford.

When are they going to issue new Lloyds bank cheque books, cards and statements and change the branding on their stationery too?

I was in Birmingham the weekend and branch on temple row has virtually been rebranded apart from the main signage and the leaflets.

Apparently the actual launch date of the TSB is not until 9 September now originally it was meant to be 14 August according to the branch staff.

So I would hazard a guess if you ordered a new card on or after that date it would have the new branding, could be wrong though.

I would think they would have to replace the cards and cheque books given the change of name without actually having to order new stuff though.

I shall have a look next time I'm in town.

I should imagine they wont' have to change your cheque book until you use up your last cheque in the book.

As all that matters is that the sortcode and account number match an active account. The machines used to process cheques dont read logo's just the numbers along the bottom of the cheque.

I still have an old Abbey cheque book that is still valid as it matches my account number and sortcode even though its now a santander account.

As for cards and statements I would imagine they will change them when the brands are fully separated. Which is either On August the 14 or September the 6th depending on which branch you go into.
Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both.

nothing in the t&c about any changes for people staying with lloyds. Those being moved to tsb have new cards - new bank means the first few numbers on the PAN (long number on card) have needed to be changed.

both T&Cs dont mention anything about cheque books or paying in books so those will be fine as mentioned in an earlier post - its the account info on these which is important, not the logo.

And the new cards still say Lloyds TSB on.

Have new cards been sent to people who were already LTSB Scotland customers?

Yes, they were the same as the the previous one [ running horse] but with TSB phone numbers and a totally new PAN sequence.

The TSB rebranded cards will just be a cosmetic exercise.

  • Two weeks after the TSB rebranding, Lloyds will unveil a new look for its remaining branches, keeping the black horse logo. - It's from an article in Guardian.
