Not including that in my spends for the week as it was an emergency spend and not a frivolous waste of money. And would have needed replacing in 2 weeks when I have my MOT anyway.

I've decided that I'm going to have to get winter tyres on my car
I changed to an automatic recently but haven't been driving (I've been ill) and now I'm starting and we've all this ice & snow  It's a totally different way of driving ... roads are carp where I am (hilly & twisty) and no gears to slow down with  so feeling really insecure
I had planned to get them for next winter but have decided I need them now ... only trouble is they're £270  - my car maintenance budget for this year was only £300(service = £250 & £50 for bits if needed) .... so .... will have to rework some figures!
They will last several winters & my normal tyres will obviously not need replaced as soon but it does leave a little cash-flow problem just now
Not incl them in my spends either!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
2016 Sell: £125/£250

Right this is a week of total confusion for me. I was lucky enough to be offered some work temporarily and i've also been ebaying anything not screwed down.
So far this week i have made = £320 but out of that i have spent a bloody fortune on paying for things for our rennovated bathroom which isn't quite finished. I've also paid out £80 for my friends 40th pressie.
All in all this week is probably and orange week but i'm that confused with all the ins and outs i cant actually work iot out as things have been so chaotic. I Still have £230 left from what i made but i also know i've gone over my £100 budget by about £60 already.
I think i need to just start again on saturday and hope next week is a better one!!!!!Looking for a fresh start0 -
Evening everyone.
Well I have well and truly blown the weekly budget. I did a food shop this evening, partly cos I didn't really have a lot of dinners in for me and hubby, but also as the weather has come in I don't want to have to go out over the weekend.
So £51.19 spent on food. Oooops.
Don't know where that leaves me but I will add up my spends tomorrow to work out how much I am over.
Rising - I don't blame you for getting winter tyres, I hate driving in this weather, hope you can work the funds out.
Zaleska - I shall put you as orange unless you tell me otherwise.
Enjoy the last day of the week everyone.SPC 18 Target £200 /0 -

Morning everyone!
Oh my goodness it is snowing! Started snowing lightly last night but had stopped. Again was very light when I got up at 5 for OH but went back to bed till 7.30 and it is heaving down now. I only live a couple of minutes from work though so will still have to go as long as I can get someone with me but the rest of my colleagues live outside of town.
Thurs - Went to Mr T's after work to buy custard creams, apples, pancetta, butter, marg (2 for £2.00) and milk. £9.04 spent (97p put into savings as found a 1p in the self service checkout)
Have a good day everyone and stay safe and warmWSC 13 -14 2 10 -
