I've got one of these cases but I have to remove the phone from it when I use the phone for navigation and put it in a cradle. Good value at £2.99 but its time for a change:

I'd like to try a different case (soft or hard) which covers the phones back and sides and wondered if members could recommend one and provide a price and link please.

Also, I know the screen is made of G glass but how tough is it i.e. will the screen scratch if I put it in my pocket without a screen protector or the protection given by my existing case.

Thank you
Richard

Plenty to choose from here. I have the first one, the S Line Wave Gel, and am happy with it although I don't use the stylus or screen protector.

  • I bought this one, and this is my review. It doesn't appear to be in stock, though, but posting this in case you find something similar. I am very happy with it, as it has all the protection you need. I wish I hadn't put on the screen film, and I never use the "pen" which just pulls out. The colour in reality is no longer the "purple" of the photo when I bought the case, but neither is it as bright as this photo indicates, IYSWIM.

But I would recommend this type of cover.

Thanks but that looks the same as the one I have albeit the colour.

With all the G300's that have been sold, I was hoping for a few more comments please.
  • S Line Wave Gel case here as well. Cheap as chips but very well made and does the job an absolute treat. Never liked the leather type cases as imo they add unnecessary bulk and the G300 isn't the slimmest phone on the market.

I have one of these jelly covers, in White it looks pretty nice and even though cheap it fits surprisingly snugly.

Although I don't use it often as it makes it hard to get the phone out of my belt holder. Also like most skin cases it adds a little lip around the front edge of the screen which 'cramps my style' a bit when side swiping stuff on screen.

With any case its important it has the right cutouts, on the back of the G300 is a small hole that needs to be uncovered, not the situation with flip cases I think?
Its the secondary microphone for the noise cancelling system, it picks up background noise to subtract from that picked up by the front (bottom) mic, other people will hear you clearer if its not covered.
