Help needed sorting out new phone,need a bargain!
OMG my head is spinning trying to work all this out! I don't know why but when it comes to sorting out mobile phone deals I just loses the plot and get really confused-I must of sounded like such an idiot on the phone to o2 trying to get my head around it all!!
Please help me figure out a bargain!
At present I have a motorola V220 which I got 2 years ago viia Rpoints, they gave me £14 cashback,the phone was free and I got the contract line rental minutes and texts all on full cashback.So basically I was payed for having it.At the end of that contract O2 offered me a contract which they credit my account which covers the cost of me using 25 minutes and 25 texts per month,which has been fine,as it is usually just with me for emergencies,and I rarely just use it to chat.But the last few weeks I have been using it a bit more,so ideally I'd like double that.So any way so far my phone has cost me virtually nothing,which is the way I like it!
But my contract finnishes a week today,so I need to sort out another deal.O2 have offered me an upgrade,but the deals dont sound too enticing.If I want to disconect from them I have to give 30 days notice,so I'l have to pay £16 for the month.
I dont really know what I want to do,I'm confusing myself! Hope your following! My partner has a rreally good pda style phone I can have,and use GPS on,so I dont really need a new phone,but ideally would like to achieve free calls texts and line rental.So I'm thinking the best thing to do is go via Rpoints or Quidco,get a free phone,on a cashback contract,sell the phone on Ebay.But so far haven't seen any good deals,all seem to be free 12 months on 18 month contract,anyone spotted anything?
I want to keep the same number,but not essential.
My heads as muddle ,and my kids have just all come bounding in from the garden,questioning me and asking for things so cant concentrate on this any more!,I'l read through what I've put,see if it makes sense, and add to it later.
The thing is I go away next week and need to get it all sorted out,so I can text whilst away.So muddled.Help please!!!
