Nokia Lumia 900
I got a Lumia 900 and I lent it to my mum and she drained the battery and now its bricked.
The phone turns on, white screen then a nokia logo and it loops. Sometimes it flashes a battery with a red line in it.
Its annoying, Some other forums said I need a high output charger. Anyone here got any ideas?

Are you using the original charger? My ipod touch has done similar when using a 3rd party charger and the device has drained the battery to a very low level.0

I am, I suspect the plug isn't giving enough juice. my friend has a 1amp output plug so I'll try that.0

The standard Nokia charger is 1.2A so I doubt it will take much more than that. Does the phone make the bing-bong when it connects, just plug it in and leave it turned off for a couple of hours. I hate phones with fixed batteries, 99% of problems can be fixed by removing the battery for 10 mins.0

Try turning the phone on and when the Nokia logo appears quickly plug the phone in charge. This might stop the loop.0

Also forgot to suggest connecting it to PC via USB as this also works for my Lumia 800 when this happens to me.0

Zune isn't picking it up. and when I go into USB mode the loop starts.
When I plug it in, that also starts the loop and the 900 doesn't charge until it boots into windows when loading it up.0 -
Have you tried a full reset whilst in the loop? (holding down the volume down and lock button for a few secs)?0

Which one is the lock button?0

When the handset is showing the battery with the red line through it press the 3rd button down on the right side of the phone with the volume down button and hold it. As soon as the phone goes off take the charger out and wait for it to come back on. As soon as the Nokia logo appears quickly put the charger back in. See if this helps.0
