Anyone sent a google map route to their mobile?
Options
Im using my mobile/android/google as a sat nav all the time now - my actual Sat nav is in the bin
because I have google account it knows what devices i have, what apps i have, where i live, where i am now and how many tatoos i have on my a$$
)
I understand that i can create a route using google maps on my PC and download/use it on my mobile - that sounds great for me - because i can add via points using my PC easier than my mobile

Done a search on google and one of the replies was this"

It is really simple. I have a Nexus1 with Froyo 2.2 release 91. When I open my browser on the phone and then log in with my account I get a google screen showing that I am signed in, I then switch to my maps application and look under layers, then more layers and lo and behold there is an option My Maps. Since I am signed in to my account (see above) it shows all the maps that I have created and saved since the beginning of time. A click onto the desried map load it and I can then navigate to my hearts content,"0 -
Actually found an easy way
Just create a route on google maps, add via/mid points (re-route) as you like
Gmaps has a button to convert the route to a link - even short link option
Either email this link to yourself, or if you're logged into GChrome even easier - I just dragged the link from GMaps to my GC links bar (all of 1" away) which i can access the same from my PC, tablet or Mobile
:T
EDIT: Didnt spot that DUTR I'll give it a whirl thanksWhen will the "Edit" and "Quote" button get fixed on the mobile web interface?0 -

Read about it but I dont get it
I already have Google Chrome browser on my PC, tablet and mobile and that syncs links anyway
I thought everyone used it? Exactly what I described above dragging a link from maps to GC (which then appears on my tablet and my mobile)
Might give 'Chrome to phone' a try anyway to see if I'm missing somethingWhen will the "Edit" and "Quote" button get fixed on the mobile web interface?0 -
