Help1st parking fine

My daughter received a parking fine in college last November 2012.
The ticket was from Millenium Parking services,Swansea. She emailed the company to question the ticket but never had a reply. Today I received a letter from Parking Collection Services with a charge for£150-should I pay or appeal or ignore?

    IGNORE:
fake ticket, actually an invoice not a fine,
Ignoring will result in threats, stupid letters and more fake letters from fake debt collectors and bogus solicitors .
8-10 letters then they go away.
They can not affect your credit, treat them exactly as you treat an e-mail scammer and you wont go far wrong.
    Be happy...;)

Ignore them completely, they are just useless clampers turned fake ticketer, an utter waste of space

Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

Not sure why she rushed to email them (why try to appeal a scam?). In fact I can only see a similar named company on the AOS approved operator members' list. On the website I found they are basically bouncers and ex-clampers who reckon they can still clamp = they can't, it is illegal!

    Is this the scammers:

''our revenue is sourced from the PCN's and immobilisations'' :rotfl:

Talk about shooting themselves in the foot with their website! Not only with the above classic sentence (not an estimate of loss then!) but also with the appeals page which SOLELY talks about clamping:

    Lazy b'stds:

And Parking Collection Service letters are on here, shown on this thread in clear pictures, listed under other PPCs, just play a game of snap:

Now please...read a few threads here and wise up. OF COURSE you don't pay this!!!!

New thread please, otherwise you won't know whether any advice given on here is addressed to you, the OP, or any other random poster opening a case on here.

Why were you parked in a Disabled Bay?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Could it affect my credit rating ? Only if they take you to court, win and you then son,t pay the sum that the court awarded

Can they actually take me to court ? Yes. You can also win the lottery. More chance on latter

I would be very greatful for a reply thanks jamie

    See above.
  • I have had a parking ticket from these people too. I want to ignore it, but don't want to end up in court or face a huge fine. It is £60 at the moment , but will go up to £100 in a weeks time.
Has anyone not paid and been ok?

No-one pays this scam, but we don't advise ignoring. You seem to have landed on a random old thread but missed the entire forum and missed the entire point about how to beat this con.
