Get John Lewis to price match, they are offering to match sale prices on the product page anyway!

The item has to be in stock for John Lewis to price match with it.
Managed to get the 5pc set for wedding gift , actually my flower girl 29 yrs ago is now getting married !
I was given a Le Creuset casserole dish as a wedding gift and have used it every week since I got married and it is still going strong !!0 -
Gutted, just got an "unable to fulfill" on the 3 piece set and 2 other things I ordered0

I wonder if they would honour it even though its out of stock?
And Debenhams have already relisted it at £149 as well!0 -

They always do this - Debenhams are terrible at stock level monitoring. I'll probably get one tooLiving with Lupus is like juggling with butterflies0 -

Can't see them price matching an OS item!Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.0 -
They've still got the three piece sets available to order and showing as "In Stock" even though they've sent an email cancelling scottishgirl87's order. Typical :mad:Living with Lupus is like juggling with butterflies0

If you click on Add to Bag it says out of stock, odd website!0 -
I think I'm more annoyed as they cancelled my whole order, including 2 other (not Le Creuset) items which weren't even featured on here or HUKD etc.0

I ordered quite a few utensils and some pans - my order was recent so it will still be processing. When it goes through I reckon I'll get the "unable to fulfil" email. I sometimes wonder if they do this on purpose because they know it will get picked up on forums and so it drives more people to the website. Most people will then be tempted by other things as well, on a spur of the moment buying frenzy, so all they have to do is fulfill the orders with items in that they actually do want to sell.
It's just an idea on my part but it seems feasible enough. Free advertising and if even 5% of people buy more than they intended to, they will be on to a good thing.Living with Lupus is like juggling with butterflies0 -
All 11 items unable to fullfill
sounds like their stock monitoring is pretty bad with all the post coming in. So frustrating when you could have spent that time with your family instead on browsing non existant goods. *sigh*
