Story Telecom Global Sim

Hi

Has anybody had any experience with the Story telecom global Sim. Looking at the rates and the places I am visiting, it appears to be the best, but in Martins tips on international sim's he says there is no/not much feedback on it.

The other alternative is the 0044.co.uk global sim but you get far more credit with the Story Telecom one.

Any one had experience with either or both of these. The fact that they both have UK mobile numbers is why I have not gone for one of the others.

Many thanks
Charlie

Yes i used it in Dubai,no problems with it calling UK. DD called me 3 times every day using inclusive mins on o2 with 0844 number. Once she couldn't get through but i think it was a problem with the 0844 NO as i could call her.

If you haven't seen the discussion thread that glenderg linked to, there is plenty of useful info in there.

There are plenty of reseller brands of the Isle of Man SIMs, with differing tariffs, range of countries with free incoming calls, and other conditions. As a rough approximation, it looks like the cheaper tariff or higher included value ones have more demanding top-up conditions.

Could anyone who has a Story SIM please post what make of phone they use it with. I am looking to buy a replacement phone.

It doesn't have to have all the functions work but my current phone only allows a manual string to be dialled and no texting!! Thanks.
