    Morning All,

DD and DGD stayed over last night. DD went off to work at 6.30, then I went back to sleep. DGD woke at 7.45. She has had a bowl of cereal, two pieces of toast and dairylea and a banana for breakfast:eek: not bad for a two year old. She has just asked me for an apple too!

Cold here, staying in today. SIL is due back from Leicester today, so will make him dinner. This is HM cottage pie and baked beans. Tomorrow I have to go to town to Boots to pick up my sale items. OH has had the Norovirus, so is staying away this weekend.

Hopefully we won't get the snow as I am due to go to Eastbourne Sunday with my friend Helen to see "Quartet" at the cinema.:T
Just made a list of all the birthday cards need till April. Have to get them for Dad too, so decided while I was in town I'd do the lot at once!:rotfl:

Dustmen took all my boxes that wouldn't fit in the recycling bin too today so that's good.

(((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))) if you need them. Especially Molly and Jools

    Hi all

Judi no advice - I don't have a scooby why AF should suddenly reappear like that, but much sympathy. Mine stopped three and a half years ago, and it's the best thing ever! I always absolutely hated 'em. Maybe a wee chat with your GP would be in order, just so you can find out why this should happen?:o

I don't think a lot is going to get done today; Jessie's here! She just wants constant fuss and cuddles, and if I stop, she pokes her somewhat substantial nose under my hand to make me stroke her again. She's also "talking" to me in little whines - not the whingey sort, but really like actual talking, iyswim.:D

morning all, hugs all round from me if you need them or not!

morgage surveyor came by 9am so i was up and had cleaned through by 8am lol! Mortified as he took photos in all the rooms, we are only remorgaing to borrow money to do up the bathroom as its truly terrible up there,
and house desperately needs a spruce up so need to paint outside, so 2013 is the declutter and shape up year!

Ive prepared a ww sausage dinner with plenty of veg, my teenager son is really trying my patience as hes always always been brilliant and eaten whatever i serve these days hes started to rise his nose and i refuse to make up 2 separate meals, yest i made jacket and curry and he refused to eat it!
he wanted fried egg sandwiich and off he went then he somehow managed to burn hole in my lovely cupcake chopping board, so grrr

anyway as house is tidy im actually up to date with ironing im going to have a chill pm before they arrie back home :)

have a lovely day everyone, its dry in wales so thats good xx

  • We went to the freezer trade shop this morning, but they didn't have much of what I wanted, so I only spent £17 that was for 6 small joints of gammon, 2 x bags of Turkey meat balls, a huge box of pepperoni slices and a big bag of mixed veg.
I had to go and pay a bill yesterday afternoon and managed to get three packs of ys organic casserole beef in Asda for £6 so I have split the meat into four casseroles and added some lentils, parsnips, celery, onion, sweetcorn and some mushrooms, we will have one tonight and I will freeze the other three, then it will just be a matter of reheating, this saves on electric because I like my casseroles to have at least four hours on a low heat after an initial high heat for 30 minutes.
I have a blanket on the line, but I don't think that it will dry, all the rest of the washing will have to go on the airers again.
It is getting colder, but I have resisted putting the heating on.
According to Piers Corbyn of weatheraction we have a bad couple of weeks on the way.

  • Good afternoon all,
Chilly here today. We didn't have a frost though this morning so that was nice not having to defrost the car. I think we are due snow on Monday.
I thought we were being fairly careful with our bills but our gas has now gone from £41 a month to £60. New payment starts in February. Haven't got the electric yet but i dare say that will go up too.
Tea tonight is chicken, peppers and onion stir fried in soy sauce, hm wedges and salad. Using bits and pieces up.
Wm is on so that will go on the airer. Ironing to do. I will get that done later as hubby is working tonight, one dd is going out and the other dd is working. Peaceful night for me.
I hope everyone has a good rest of the day and hugs to those who need them.

TFI Friday, I need sleep, lol.
I need to spend time photographing some clothes to list on Ebay tomorrow, but apart from that I shall have a lazy weekend.
    Have a good day everyone.
