Changing providers mid contract

I'm 6 months into a 12 month half price contract with O2, if I change my broadband to plusnet how much will I have to pay O2 for the remainder of the contract. Is it the full monthly rate *6 months or the discounted half price *6 months or some other figure?

It'll be the balance owing on your minimum term. So if you've had 6m discounted or free, and the deal was full rate for the 2nd 6m, you'll pay full for the remaining months.
I presume that this is in order to switch to a fibre product?
