Changing Broadband Provider

Can anyone please provide information on how I go about changing my broadband provider. I am currently with Tiscali but recently have been having lots of problems getting connected but not sure if it is worth the hassle, tim echanging provider.

You might want to have a look at the terms of your contract with Tiscali. If you are still within a contract period they may charge for a cancellation of service fee.
Having done that you just need to decide who you want to go with then complete an application with the new provider normally online and they will ask you for all the relevant details and advise you on what to do next and how long it will take for the transfer and if they need to send you any equipement.0 -
You need to request your MAC from Tiscali, as no other ISP can provide service while Tiscali are your ISP. By giving the MAC to your chosen new provider, you should be switched with very little down time and will not have to pay an ADSL activation fee to the new ISP.:doh: Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

You need a MAC code and then you give this to your new broadband provider and then then transfer you over. I suggest pipex for cheap very good broadband. Used them for 4 years with no probs at all. Very good company.Kind Regards
