    quick update for you all

I returned my 75% off Mr Shoes shopping and got it refunded to my debit card. Then I immediately bought it again paying for it with my Argus vouchers :D

So thanks to Mr Shoes original 75% off, mailed out double points and bonus points coupons and now the Argus 25% off giftcards I reckon I paid about £35 for £240 of goods. :money:

i haven't seen any Argus giftcards in Mr Shoes to try the rinse and repeat that folks were considering BUT I did notice something (apologies if mentioned but worth repeating even if it has been said IMHO)......

The Mr Shoes giftcard says it can be used on "absolutely anythng in store". There are no exclusions whatsoever on either the card or the cardboard sleeve it is attached to other than can only be used between 6am and midnight, instore only and not valid in ROI.

Soooooo I think will be buying quite a few Mr Shoes giftcards in Argus and then using them to buy £25 B&Q giftcards in Mr Shoes. Effectively saving myself 25% on B&Q vouchers .....which I'll spend on a Wednesday with a pensioner in tow so that I can get another 10% off :rotfl:

Assuming this works and I see no reason why it won't, then it means people are not limited to saving 25% on the small range of Argus giftcards. You can effectively save 25% on the full range of Mr Shoes giftcards if you are savvy enough :D

Now to read back and see if this has been mentioned/shot down already :rotfl:

I just nipped home for a very quick catch up and a bit of lunch.

Waiting for mum to be taken into hospice. Pain is so severe, something desperately needs to be done for her.

Don't think I will be around much today somehow. Just going back to meet Macmillan nurse at mum's.

Hope everyone else is ok and hugs to everyone who needs them.

Sorry to hear this, I hope they can get the pain under control for her:(

    What a morning!

Can't believe our mortgage company, seems they'd happily see us out on the streets  Thank goodness we have a family who can help us out if we get in a pickle.

Need all the glitches we can get though and for me to get better really soon :(

I cant believe how bad some of the building society's are. Sorry you are having problems. I have an appt myself in a couple of hours to discuss mine.
