Me too and I am debating now whether to keep Mr Tinyshoes' life times supply of socks or trade them in for something. :rotfl:

Must have given nearly £100 worth away too.

Your heart was in the right place when you gave them away. You cannot predict what some people will do.:o
  • Sorry Morning All.
    Hope all is well today.
Little ones were a little quiet yesterday. Hubby is struggling. He feels that is the end for his family, as mums was the place they all met up. The centre of the family.
Thank you everyone for their condolences.
Funeral won't be for 3 weeks. One of the Grandsons is getting married in 2 weeks so sad.
my mum was the same as your mil. centreof the family, if you wanted any news spread, you just told mumand half the street would know before you got to the bottom of the path. we also used her home as a "dropping off" point for xmas/birthday presents. we always had a big family get together at xmas, mostly ended up in rows though :( and until 2 xmas ago we still did have those xmas get togethers and always had one seat empty as this was for mum. mum has been gone for 7 years now. at first it was ok as we had to talk to each other. now i call my brother once a month and dont hear from my 3 sisters at all.
life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.

I won't be brave enough to return any, I was jesting. They will save us so much money by keeping them as we have an allotment, go camping and walking so will get very good use out of the socks I have kept. ;)

I posted on the Bodyshop thread that I found the small gift cubes for £2.50 in my local so they would have been £1.50 if you had the 40% off voucher from the email.

Also I got the xmas gift lollipop with 5 lip balms in, it was marked at £5 so got it for £3. 60p a lib balm and they are £2 each if you buy them seperately. :)

    Morning all.
I'm wishing the snow would hurry up and do one as well. Need to get out but as we rely on buses or walking its a nightmare getting anywhere at the mo. Really really wants some gift cards from Argos. Bet they haven't got any left by the time I get there :(

Hope everyone is well. Loving all the beautiful birdy pictures. :)

Has anyone tried the mama mio trial set yet? I'm debating using it or bunging it on fleabay. Is it any good???

I've used the eye serum and the moisturiser and its really nice:T

I already know that when my Mum passes away I will probably only have contact with maybe one of my 4 siblings. Still I hope I will still have my Elite family
