Morning all, I'm loving all the bird pics, please keep posting :T

Yesterday I saw some birds I didn't recognise on my feeders. I ran upstairs to ask OH if he would hurry and take a pic with his expensive camera, to which he muttered about being busy with important work so no  by the time I had got my phone out of my bag they were gone :( they were similar size to a Great Tit but black and white, no other colours. Anyone know what they might be? TIA

My smoke alarm's mains powered and has been chirruping since yesterday morning, I've rang the housing place to see if they could send someone out to check it because I opened it up to see if it had a backup battery but couldn't find it or anywhere it would go. The best they could do was to put me down for a visit but they're not too sure when they'll get to me because it's not urgent, probably the end of the month  by then I think I'll have gone mad as it's really bugging me now:mad:
Still waiting on the guy to come and look at our heating, have had none downstairs for ages now but because there was heating upstairs it's not considered a priority so told them that it's now not working anywhere. We're down for a visit at the start of February, can't do it sooner because of a backlog and if they resubmitted the request it could be later in February! What's wrong, can they not just ring the contractor to say to prioritise certain ones? No too much hard work for them.

Mains ones still have battery, we found out after moaning about chirruping coming from the loft - converted (DD1's bedroom)
