The issue that I have is that nothing is made clear by Royal Mail or Ebay and I just feel that they make it as difficult as possible so that people give up and don't bother
That seems exactly what they think
I had an item sent via 'airsure' to someone in Hong Kong and it came back ripped open and empty.
Despite it being completely trackable and showing as never made it, because I didn't have proof of cost because it was a second hand item they refused to pay out. I gave up in the end after much banging my head against a brick wall.
Made me wonder why I even bothered sending it that way in the first place as they were happy to take my money when I sent it :mad:Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000
Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55

Nope.
On sign up one of the Q's is asking for weight of baby though (I assume it's in line with the range of nappies) and it goes all the way up to 16kg as a selection.
Thanks for this, one of my nieces has a toddler, and and my other niece is due in a couple of weeks. I'll tell them about it.0 -

I won't send abroad anymore because even though they say its trackable its actually only properly trackable till it leaves the UK:(I did send a parcel to Italy though as the buyer literally begged to be allowed to bid but then I sent the item by courier and the buyer paid the cost. But I had far too much hassle with sending abroad so stopped and it hasnt affected my sales, but I suppose it depends on what you're selling.
Since postage has gone up I send normal 2nd class to keep costs down, but anything over £30 I send out recorded. Ebay has got harder and you really need to keep on top of the scams on there:(Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -

I had this happen to me. Buyer was I felt falsely claiming non arrival from a few sellers. Reported to Ebay and they did get banned, but paypal still refunded! I claimed from Royal Mail, showing the original receipt from a year ago and saying as it was second hand item the value was now less and the ebay sale price confirmed that and I would accept the ebay sale price. They paid out in about 2 weeks.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
