Oh no :( hope you get payment sorted and no negative feedback.
Have you tried selling things on Facebook (if you have an account) - -- not so good for specialist items, but no postage or feedback to mess about with.

Good Morning everyone, how do you sell on facebook?

Very rarely not on offer at that sort of price. I get a 3kg (ish) piece and normally pay about £6 -£7. Only once was it not on offer and same sort of piece cost me £14.

In groups search for "items for sale *your town*", "things for sale in *your town*", etc loads of them round here. You then upload a photo, write a small description and price. People will then comment on the photo or inbox you barter a bit and arrange a time to collect (or you deliver for a small charge).
Be aware tha your Facebook friends will see some of your activity!
I set up another Facebook profile just for selling!:o

Glitchy duvets have been in short supply lately:(

    I would say 100%

FF don't worry too much, I would be pretty certain its just a windup;)I've met lots of people from here and they are all lovely:TI've also looked in peoples trolleys and its obvious their glitching and I can't resist making a comment because I'm a chatty sort (Not that you'd know;):rotfl:)Couple of times they've been from HUKD and have been as nice as pie:)

I would never have guessed. :rotfl:

And FunkyFeet, Nikkilala is one of the lovely people I have met in real life and she is as lovely as her posts suggest. :)

I am same as you Nikki, and can't resist, spoke to someone's husband, never found out whose when the Lemon Meringues were glitching and cheese has always been a give away, met another MSEer and someone from the Student Money Saving Facebook group from two different cheese glitches. Never gave them my name though. Well eventually the MSEer I have as bumped into them several times eventually. ;)

    Morning all,
Day 2 of trying my hardest to do housework (yeah right :D )
Luckily I've managed to get the washer and tumbler running before logging on as my internet's been on the blink (amazing what 10 mins downtime does to you when you're desperate :D )
Not a happy chappy here as the slushy snow turned to ice craters and my buggy tyre got a puncture - I heard it go pop so it's probably not repairable!

I'm stuck on the computer - gosh, I am soo easily distracted. Have so much to do, plus need to get to the gym before the local secondary school kids get there - don't like working out when they are all there. New Year's Resolutionn was not to come on here until at least downstairs was tidy...failed badly there today!!

Sounds like the buyer is a nightmare unfortunately there are lots of them about at the mo. if you log into your PayPal account and select the payment (click on details I think) it will show If it is an echeque and what the predicted clearing date is. You could send this to buyer and advise if they in future wanted to be items quicker best not to pay be echeque (this is when they only have bank account linked to PayPal rather than card or funds in PayPal). If you think buyer is being funny and item recorded just incase they try to claim not receipt as wouldn't trust them and eBay are worse than useless and always side with buyer even when it comes to unreasonable feedback.

    HTH

Thanks again. Buyer has now withdrawn payment and says he's being messed about. Thankfully I haven't sent the item, and ebay shows the second chancer. The original buyer's feedback is all positive, so i think somehow there is impatience and misunderstanding. Hey-ho - you win some, you lose some!!

Now I REALLY, REALLY am going to get up :o and get on!! Happy Day to all!!
  • Off to Sada to look for bin bags and Huggins kit. Anybody want anything trying????
