  • So, how many of us are waiting for PP today to see if the breakfast deal worked in England?

Hods up hand personally for 1 cereal deal and 1 meat breakfast deal, hubby was impressed with the £5 for each deal bit, then I told him that we may get a small amount back if it compares and he was in the van reving it, lol!

morning guys, not been on for a few days as RL got in the way... day off work today so gonna have a right lazy morning, and a good catch up, what is the breakfast deal please?
    TIA

You know that's what comes to my mind - that due to this weirdo, I think I'm never telling anyone I am an mse here...therefore I may miss out bumping into one of you lovelies in the future:(

Try not to worry funkyFeet. That is how I met DaisyDuck and was persuaded to come out of lurkdom and post. :)

  • Good morning everyone :)

Itsasecret and lookingforabargain - so sorry to hear both your sad news xx

Still snowing off and on here. Snowed the whole day yesterday so had to hike through a foot of snow to school this morning. Kids think its great fun, I however don't as I have to traipse back in it once they're all cosy inside school.....

Housework day today but off to catch up first. Hope you are all keeping warm and safe.

I had a similar accident with a toe nail.
Was cutting my toe nails late one night and one just shot up in the air and stabbed me in the eye
Thought it would be ok if I just bathed it, but come the morning I looked like I'd been in the ring with Mike Tyson so I had to go to A&E.
I now wear glasses or sunglasses when I cut them.
    Daughter told everyone of course.

I did the same doing an emergency repair of fingernail at work once, flicked straight into my eye and needed help from work 1st aider to get it out!

Also we used to work with palletts and each layer separated by sheet of cardboard, I some how managed to flick the corner of the cardboard into my eye as I took it off to get to the next layer, I managed to continue for the rest of the day with a sore weeping eye that got worse every time I went to tea break/dinner as the lights were stronger there than in the warehouse, went to walk in centre that night to be told after drops and examination that I had a triangular corneal abrasion, result eye drops and about 5 days off work because work place was very dirty/dusty environment(unpaid) most of which was spent in a darkened room, amazing just how much eyes can hurt!:(

    Let me guess-
    1. Mick
    2. Bruce
    3. Elvis

Where does OH fit in the list?

    :rotfl::rotfl:

In fact Bruce is my No. 1!! I couldn't call myself Mrs Springsteen though - such a mouthful, etc!! (No smutty jokes please!) Plus, I once filled in an online form requesting a catalogue from a very smart kitchen showrooms, using Mrs S - was sooooo mortified when I answered the phone one day and the caller said "Hi, is that Mrs Springsteen?"!!! At least Jagger is plausible!!

As for OH - of course he's the real No. 1 - but he can't sing!!!
