Well I'm young enough to also feel blessed. good post. I dont need to venture out for weeks at this rate (assuming my Tues evening spanish class is cancelled;)). Thank goodness I'm a glitcher and am fully stocked up :T

Thanks. I've only been to the Dons stadium once, got a freebie with my boss as Clydesdale Bank sponsor it and we work with them ocassionally. We had the full works - dinner, VIP box etc.:j

Another tip - make tea in the slow cooker or a casserole dish in the oven. The smell will fill the house, OH thinks you've spent ages cooking etc ;)

just fancy stew and dumplings now I've read this

Right, draft article sent off to collaborator

Dishwashers emptied and one reloaded. Yes, 2 dishwashers - the luxury. Very practical - 1 dirty, 1 clean and cheaper than installing 2 cupboards as bought both off fleabay (£40 and £60) - Ikea stainless steel splashback (£5) cut down for integral doors - fantastic.

Can highly recommend getting 2 dishwashers to anyone having a kitchen refit.

I could have two or three:rotfl: but no one else would put them on or empty them:(

Do you think 5 xmas puds and 1 mini one in the cupboard is a bit over the top. :o

And we ate one at xmas. :D

    NO!! :D
We had 4 after Xmas last year and they've all been eaten :D
Only problem is I've not found any cheap to replace them with for this Xmas :(

    Question -

Am I being really harsh and do these signs not make any sense?

    doorsigns_zps13ca6260.jpg

Ooops, should add these signs are what I put on my shop door. After I got robbed and put down on the floor, I decided I wanted to see people's faces as they entered. People are trying the door and then walking away though.
:D Coupons = the only money we can legally print for ourselves:D

:j A coupon for a free item that is price glitched in Mr T's to be cheaper than Sada for an apg = HEAVEN :j

    :money: total = £47.48 cc = 413 selling stuff = £23.00 Floor pennies = £5.79

Neither do I. A year and a bit ago we had the warm air heating replaced with another unit, which meant that due to new regs we had to have a straight flue, which meant a large pipe going up the wall of DDs room, which meant she had a good excuse to totally change her room. She evicted a decent desk and a bookcase, which I kept because DS had left home the year before and kept saying they would be getting their own house soon, these would be very useful in a spare room.

Bookcase is on landing, desk is on my side of the bedroom. DS's room is still full of his stuff, everything now needs decorating and that can't happen till DS empties his room, we can then decorate that (he painted it brown and red the year before he left home, made an awful job of it too), move the furniture in there, then we can access the areas that need decorating upstairs. But we are still waiting on DS and his fiancee to get their own place :mad:

Absolutely ZERO chance of tidying our room :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I love that - was laughing my head off. I have days that consist purely of moving things around and putting them back in their place.

    Bring dirty clothes downstairs
Wash them and take them back upstairs.
Hang them up in different wardrobes.
Meanwhile, i get distracted by other things... the glass by the bedside table goes down into the kitchen then when I'm in the kitchen i realise the dishwasher needs emptying.. etc etc. Two hours pass and I've worn myself out doing half jobs :rotfl:

I'm gonna use mine on bribing my kids with a free muffin if they help me out today :D (yes that's one muffin between them - heehee) as Hubby won't notice me spending anything :D
Good idea. I tend to save all my points and at Xmas, i bought 2 of the big bottles of flavoured syrups for OH. Not for using in coffee, to use in cocktails!! The vanilla one is great in an apple martini.
1 shot vodka, half a shot toffee schnapps, 1 shot copella apple juice, a dash of vanilla syrup. Shake in a cocktail shaker with ice, strain into martini glass, top with cinnamon :D Too early to talk about alcohol??!:rotfl:
