I don't have a dishwasher or a tumble dryer. I simply refuse to have them, they take up too much space and there is only three of us living here, we should be able to cope.

If there was a dishwasher there would never be any clean dishes, and if we had a tumble dryer my DD would be even more convinced that things launder themselves (she is 23!!!) :rotfl::rotfl:

I have a dishwasher and a tumble drier and there's only one of me :rotfl:

good morning all hope the elite is well, and keeping safe in this weather,

had to laugh at dd2 on the phone ranting that the doctors made her feel like a 13 year old slapper, she went in for urine infection, gets asked if her mum knows she is there, told to do a wee wee in pot, then asked if she is sexually active, and don't worry we wont tell your mum, on the pill, using protection 1 exclusive partner, and is she still at school..

she is 22 this year :rotfl:and thinks they should have checked how old she is..

    I totally agree with her!!!!

    How embarrasing for her.

I got told by a bus driver that half fare would be how ever much it was when I was 21. I had just said Poole please and he assumed the rest, I was quite pleased at the time but think I would have been  if it had been my doctor that had made the assumption. I have never looked my age until recently. :(

Thank you so much patty for trying the breakfast deal today, very good return on the cereal one. :T

I fancy trying the meat one but wont get an instant PP like you.

Maybe one of the NI folks would try the meat one- I won't use that. At least you know that the £5 deal will kick in in store though:D. and that you have a good chance of comparing.

The breakfast deals look quite good even without the lure of a PP at the end. :D

Just before Xmas I was asked for ID in Sainsbobs. I am 40 years old. Told the women she needed her eyes tested. My DD was with me and she was never asked.

I had a tumbler that packed up a while back and we didn't have one for a while - it was impossible to keep clothes clean after that so we had to buy a new one :D
We seem to have problems with damp in this house and back then we had no rads so drying clothes was an absolute nightmare without one (there's 6 of us here) and clean washing is still constantly left in my washer after the cycles finished if i don't move it round so I can see a dishwasher becoming a dumping ground too if we ever got one!

Will hopefully catch you all again later I must go and get on with some RL stuff. Mum has an appointment at the doctor this afternoon and like lots of you need to get a bit of tidying done. ;)

Just wanted to say big thanks to everyone here for the bargains and glitches, I don't feel like I have been able to give much back lately. I am always few steps behind you all. :o
