Still snowing here and it has been since 9am:(Our road is horrendous now, you can't get in one end because its on a slope and you just slide if you stop:eek:Even the main roads are getting bad as well now as their's no traffic..
No more snow here today and the roads aren't too bad. Hopefully it won't be too icy in the morning or else I will be asked to drive DD to work. DS lives in East London and said it has been snowing all day. Silly boy called me a bit sqiffy last night on thw way to meet his fiance so then i had to stay awake until he text to say he was home. That was at 1.55a.m.!!!
Since I reached menopause I have been a terrible worrier. If I don't know what my children are doing I don't worry. Got a few dirty looks cause i had so many flowers especially as one of the chief snatchers from the Mr T squad came along just as i put them in my trolley. Paid with a small APG so I together with a few groceries i only paid 68p!!!0 -

By the very same token, if I had been speaking to David, Artha or DM, I would try to be polite as they have so many issues that they might take offence if I call them by anything other than their real names. You know what I mean, at their time of life I could start talking about beer bellies, lack of hair, nagging wives, false teeth, mid life crisis, gravity, man boobs etc.
However, I don't mention any of these things as I know that one of them might get upset..:D:DWhen The Fun Stops Stop0 -

I think I inherited the worry gene from my mother and find I get worse as I get older:oTo do is to be. Rousseau

I think there may be some PP scope with the new Breakfast "meal deals for £5" at T, particularly the berry cereal one
http://www.tesco.com/groceries/SpecialOffers/SpecialOfferDetail/Default.aspx?promoId=A30276646
the 2 x cereals are I think £2.99 at T and £2 at A, so assuming they compare that is £1.98 back before taking into account the other items.
The egg and sausage one also has potential as 6 medium free range eggs are £1 at A and the sausages are 39p cheaper. This isn't such a bad deal in its own right
http://www.tesco.com/groceries/SpecialOffers/SpecialOfferDetail/Default.aspx?promoId=A30276646
Not sure about the brioche/coffee one
http://www.tesco.com/groceries/SpecialOffers/SpecialOfferDetail/Default.aspx?promoId=A30276605
Or blueberries £3 at Ts and £2 at As - assume you can get two of same item?
Edit - blueberries now not on website - am sure they were - sorry guys
Also it doesn't mention being available in store just online - do stores have to honour it!0 -

As did this...!!! As a child, I used to wake in the night and get a drink of water from the bathroom. Then I'd fill the cup and pour the water into the overflow under the tap. I would do this over and over again until i felt the sink had drunk enough... (?) Freaky/OCD?? :rotfl:
I only told my mum this about 5 years ago and she was amazed I'd not flooded anywhere!!
One of my jobs as a kid used to be to do the hoovering upstairs on a Saturday. I was hoovering the loo one Saturday and for some reason wondered if it was possible to Hoover all the water out the toilet:eek:
still no idea what made me wonder such a thing:o
needless to say I found out its impossible to Hoover all, the water out....I broke the Hoover and I got no pocket money for 3 months:o:rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Have pmd you thanks flo flo:)0

I enjoyed your post, although I'm going to have to work it out later (sometimes even I don't fully understand), along with Dodo's reply.
Isn't there something relating to this in the PP T&Cs(?)0 -
