David. Artha davemorton...about time u all checked in, been reading all that moaning u guys did yesterday :rotfl: poor me was fast asleep after me bournvita:)
called me furry fingers, flabby features...how bad...is it really that difficult to say FunkyFeet! I'll quote u guys, once I've caught up
That made me laugh :rotfl:Just spotted this and remembered a funny story my parents tell us...well every time we get together it's now mentioned, my sibling and I used to go to the kitchen...we were so small couldn't reach the cutlery drawer, they used to give me a leg up and I would grab as many knives and forks, spoons possible...we would then run to the bathroom and deposit all said cutlery into the toilet and flush...repeat, over and over until we got caught:eek: we were aged only 2 and 1/2 and 3 and 1/2 but would do this most days...nerfdad bet feel you have it easy now;)
I fail to understand why I did this and remain:o
As did this...!!! As a child, I used to wake in the night and get a drink of water from the bathroom. Then I'd fill the cup and pour the water into the overflow under the tap. I would do this over and over again until i felt the sink had drunk enough... (?) Freaky/OCD?? :rotfl:
I only told my mum this about 5 years ago and she was amazed I'd not flooded anywhere!!Tiger

Perhaps I'm attributing to myself too much power, in thinking that a price match/price beat by me would actually influence stores in how they alter their prices...
Anyway.
We have some loose green seedless grapes, which I think were about £3.73/kg, going up in price to £4.98/kg from tomorrow. So if you see loose green grapes at a price per kg of about £3.72 or £3.73 at T tomorrow, it may be a DTD potential. This is a price of about £2.49, now £3.24 (showing as going to be £3.24 on MSM) for about 650g.
Or maybe t.com is now confusing - it's saying it's £3.24 (£4.98/kg) today (20/1/13) but then saying "Half price - was £4.98 now £2.49 (valid from 21/1/13 to 27/1/13)". So maybe they're going down in price. Yet £4.98 was not the most recent price: instead, according to this, £3.24 was.
So, on the basis of this information, it doesn't seem it is half price compared to the most recent previous price (the 'current' £3.24 showing on t.com) and, in this respect, doesn't appear to me quite to be in complete conformity with the Department of Business & Innovation pricing code of practice. Maybe I'm wrong...
As I recall it this was £1.62 (for approx 650g) yesterday, and MSM also has this price on its history. So quite where the new £2.98 is "half price" in relation to the previous £1.62, and how this fits into the higher price of £4.98 that was allegedly charged at some point, I'm not sure.
If the old SEL of £1.62 (for 650g) (or £2.49/kg) is on the shelf, instead of the new price of £2.49 (£3.83/kg), we could have an interesting DTD. Unless it is that the quantity being used by T in the total price paid has changed, in which case some might say it's confusing consumers as to what the real prices, before and after, are - and whether these fit into an actual half price or not. I must say, from the t.com website, and from MSM, I'm myself confused as to which way the pricing is going. Which doesn't take much to confuse me here. Is it higher or lower from tomorrow?
Add into that complex mix that Sains are £1.49 for 600g (which is £2.49/kg) (it says "White Seedless Grapes" on s.co.uk, although they are clearly green and not full white and comes up under a search for "Green Grapes), it could be a case of new £3.83/kg at T vs £2.49/kg for Sains on the T PP (so DTD and PP). Sains offer runs until 22/1/13 - so you have a window of one day, possibly, in which to take advantage of the possible DTD + the PP vs S unless S extends its offer (or reduces its price even lower).0 -
lol :rotfl: speak for yourself SFCB I am 110 and have no teeth:p
also No I won't give in...I am FunkyFeet and thats what you call me, cheeky look at u , u are even at it, calling me Flabs.......how very dare u:p:D
By the very same token, if I had been speaking to David, Artha or DM, I would try to be polite as they have so many issues that they might take offence if I call them by anything other than their real names. You know what I mean, at their time of life I could start talking about beer bellies, lack of hair, nagging wives, false teeth, mid life crisis, gravity, man boobs etc.
However, I don't mention any of these things as I know that one of them might get upset..:D:D0 -
So, in addition to the loose green seedless grapes (I went off on a tangent again on that one), we also have T Sweet Beetroot Salad (160g) losing its 2 for 1 from tomorrow: so £1.50 x 2 instead of 2 for £1.50. If old SEL shows the BOGOF... (Buy 2 of course!! Charge £3.00, should have been £1.50, DTD £3.00 - two packs of beetroot salad for free. In theory.)
And the offer on the Persil Non-Bio 35 washes (£4.84) is also supposed to end 20/1/13 - although it's showing as out of stock for me now.
Just those three items. You now have all the information I have.0 -

Hi glad your little boy loved the snow. My grandma used to live in Howard Road, and my Aunt at the top end of Ditton lane.:)0 -
]Evening all. We are back from weekend in London and all kernackered  it has been good despite the almost constant snow and very low temperatures. I went on the Emirates Air Line cable car across Thames twice yesterday, once in daylight and then again late at night, and thoroughly enjoyed it, despite thinking it would terrify me with my great fear of heights. Would recommend it to anyone. Views are great too
We all met up with Aesop and her darling DS this morning for breakfast at the O2Arena then across city to have a browse in Harrods. It was wonderful to see them again and to have a good natter. Worth going to London for on it's own
We'd arranged to leave our luggage at the hotel when we checked out this morning, so picked that up and got train home about 6, getting back to Kit's about 7.30, tired but happy :j
Now I am going to do a bit of catching up so I may be quite a whileMr 3Dogs 3-7-12
