If the birds don't want them I'm sure the local rat and mouse population will enjoy them:D

Talking of fat ball, the ones I've been putting out this year are left over from the big tubs I bought last year but they don't seem to be going down too well. They smell OK but I wonder if they can go rancid and put the birds off? Anyone else had this problem?
could be, as i dont see many birds on mine this year as i am also putting last years out.

My shell sells gift cards for most high street stores in case anyone with an Amex doesn't drive, or doesn't need a full fifty of petrol.

We have squirrels, so I'm sure they will appreciate them :(

My fat balls are from last year too, but they have been kept chilled in the garage. Maybe it is too cold for them to get a packing grip through the solid fat?

But surely you have to put in how many you are reducing, the computer has no way of knowing the expiry date on products.:D

of course but the night before the products with next days date get scanned and amount entered so in the morning someone runs round does the first lot of reductions and so on hence the system knows how many are going to be sold or wasted through reductions

Hope everyone is keeping warm and cosy. All wet and slushy and a little icy in yorkshire.
For all members from London could you help me with a dilemma please. Visiting London with family in July and trains are always silly money. Was thinking of driving to hotel in marylebone but surrounding carparks are expensive. Looked at iparkonyourdrive.com but all booked. Thinking of maybe parking up somewhere and getting train in, does anyone know where parking would be best for this. We need about 36 hours. Tia x

I've finally thawed out after playing in the garden for the last hour. One snowman build complete with coal eyes and carrot nose :T Little man had a massive paddy though when it was time to come in. He was soaking wet and freezing cold but still didn't want to stop. Typical kid :D

I once launched a chicken curry and pilau rice at my ex after he turned up hours late and absolutely bongoed. It took me ages to get the curry off the ceiling and i was finding rice in the carpet for days.:rotfl:

The rice and curry made me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:my dh dont drink (me either) so not got that problem of im coming in steaming
