carry on doing 30mph then slam on brakes. far more mse petrol wise to slow down gradual.:)
I don't mean drive to the lights then slam the breaks on:eek: I meant as you approach the lights whether red/green take foot off the accelerater as you need to stop gently break and let the clutch in.
It's really interesting because I first had lessons 12 yrs before and was taught to down gears. 7 years ago when I started again 2 driving instrutors (b$m) told me not to down gears as it wears your clutch quicker. I didn't down gears on test and passed first time with no faults.0 -

It used to be earlier until someone went on tv and told the world about whoopsies and the times to go. It got so busy the store moved final reductions (75% off) to 9pm.0 -
My shell sells gift cards for most high street stores in case anyone with an Amex doesn't drive, or doesn't need a full fifty of petrol.0

I've finally thawed out after playing in the garden for the last hour. One snowman build complete with coal eyes and carrot nose :T Little man had a massive paddy though when it was time to come in. He was soaking wet and freezing cold but still didn't want to stop. Typical kidCant remeber why , but i threw a big glass ashtray at DH :rotfl::rotfl:, e ducked it hit the door and made a hole in it :eek::eek: imagine if it had hit his head
I once launched a chicken curry and pilau rice at my ex after he turned up hours late and absolutely bongoed. It took me ages to get the curry off the ceiling and i was finding rice in the carpet for days.:rotfl:Life is not about learning to avoid the storms - it's about learning to dance in the rain.0
