    FREE SCREENING OF HITCHCOCK

Will need to buy the Mail on Sunday tomorrow as the cinema asked for this last time. Be quick as this will probably close quickly.

Hope it is a good Saturday afternoon for all. :)

    Happy Birthday mhoc. :bdaycake:

Stay warm and safe everyone. Snow has mostly melted here where it matters, paths and roads. :)

Will be asking for some weather updates tomorrow for Stoke/Keele if anyone lives up that way. DD2 has train booked for return trip to uni.

Did not see much of her over xmas as she was revising loads, she only had to go back for a week to do her exams then got a weeks break so chose to come home, not sure whether that was a good decision now, but it has been nice to have her around. :)

Which train station - Crewe or Stoke? And then its the bus from outside the stAtion? Main roads around Crewe are clear but we have not been up into Stoke this morning, tends to get worse weather as its hillier
Son goes to work via Weston and Wychwood which is the back road going through Audlem and through to Keele itself and that road was clear this morning.
We had an entire day of snow on Friday and it was covering main roads as it came down - roads will be fine tomorrow unless we get more snow :(

It has been reported by more than 1 person that in their asda the £2 nappy moc wasn't allowed to be used on the starter kits again.

Apparently they had been told by HO.

Just had a look, and they are £3 now, so I will probably give it a go and see if they let me use it, and will post back.

Are the Huggies starter kits back on offer again?

These are also good if you are trying to buy your 'at least 8 items'

2 things I should have checked this morning, now starter kits and a.pen bars

QUOTE=LaaCaz;58731885]Buy your first kit with the coupon from the huggies website then when the sada baby club is on :-

    1) Inside the cardboard surround of the kit are some vouchers. Be careful when taking it off so as you don't rip the vouchers.
    2) There is a £1 voucher for Kleenex balsam tissues (these are £1 in As atm).
    3) There is a £1 voucher for huggies pure wipes (these are £1 in As atm).
    4) There are also vouchers for £2 off newborn nappies and huggies little swimmers.
    5) The starer kit will be £3 in As and is classed as nappies.
    6) As also do a single little swimmer nappy for £1.
    7) Using the 2 £2 off vouchers you can get the kit and little swimmer for free as the till takes off the combined £4.
8 ) You then have another set of vouchers to repeat the process.
    9) You could always use the self scan if you don't feel comfy using the normal till.

    I hope this helps :D

P.s I just copied this off my facebook page so I'm sorry that it's very lay mans terms :)[/QUOTE]

But the baby event hasn't started yet COT so in theory they wouldn't have tried the nappy MOC on this round yet. I will be giving it a bash with my fav sa's:D

edit oh maybe it has started -sorry for misinforming!!!

To be honest they used to take them fine, but towards the end of the last baby event I had problems with them being taken:(

He really wasnt very nice :( I know its really daft but he was almost scared of our dog and then started to go on about he thought he needed an xray for his stomache as it looked a bit bulbous, but he wouldnt feel it because he was worried our dog woud bite him!! by then he'd muzzled him, so how he thought he was going to bite him through a bl00dy muzzle I don't know? With all the stuff he was suggesting I don't think we'd have seen much change out of £1,000 :eek:And too top it off it was freezing in the vets as their heating had broken down and another vet was on the phone haggling over a callout charge and saying ok we'll wait until Monday, so they didnt have to pay callout charge! but they keep sick animals there overnight:(

When we moved here and I was looking for a vets, and didnt really know anyone, I googled what to look for in a vets -

"Select a vet whose personality you like - the best way to choose a vet is the same way you would select a friend.

A typical compassionate general practice vet will stand within three feet of you, give you considerable eye contact, and address you and your pet by name. The vet should smile, be upbeat and stroke your pet. "

Sounds like the vet failed all the above - I certainly wouldn't be going there again.

Can’t beat recommendations from someone you know. :)

Big thanks for the update, she will be getting the train to Stoke but will get a taxi to Keele uni as think will be back later than the last bus.

I did tell her to book an earlier train from Poole but she likes to stay at home for as long as possible as being so far away means she does not get many chances to come home. :(
