My Mum's phone was running low on credit, so she asked me to get her a top up voucher...so popped to the T's express and got her some bread and milk too incase the weather closes in and told her she can help her self to my stash I have in her freezer!:D

she then started offering me some money for the bread and milk!

    she's 73 and still thinks I'm her little boy!!

    Mum's eh!:)

It's a job for life with no training, no prevous experience the first tme around and no pay! Comments? Where's my clean shirt, PE/football kit etc isn't my 'whatever' ironed, bombsite a la bedroom, I don't want that for dnner and the usual three bath towels a day for each shower taken! Rewards? Usually a big hug and a kiss - especially after the 'dirty/ironed/' item magically appears. Occasionally, a bunch of flowers, a hug and a thank you. Or the miracle - a tidy bedroom! Reason we do the job? Love!

My boots delivery was the same Logie. A huge box with no packaging and everything was rolling around inside. One of the sanctuary boxes contents were all out of the box. Nothing damaged thankfully. Not like boots at all, they must be too busy to pack the boxes properly.

Nice to hear you sounding so bright:)

I have had anawful time with my order, issues with a discount code being accepted but not honoured, then told it wasn't coming today and I had paid £5.50 for Saturday delivery and then it turns up today, luckily I'm in (snowed in lol) but the 2 boxes had both been damaged/opened one was still open and the other had been resealed with a tape that said resealed at distribution centre. I checked my order and have 2 items missing and 3 damaged - first big problem I have had with a Boots order and I am hounding them now to get it sorted.

And learns to keep credit on his phone in case of emergency & leaves proper details of flights. Me on my soapbox today please drum that message into any family or friends travelling.

Is his flight definately coming in today & on time ? Got to go out now but if DD has to stay down here I'm sure Nikki or Clipstrip can suggest some hotels in Ealing Bdy or Northolt on the outskirts I'll be back later, please keep us informed.

Thanks for the concern QPR10 he was 20 mins early. Arrived 6.20am and dd was on time, don't even think she needed to park in McDonald's lol, straight in to short stay. Think he had given right flight number but we needed to wait til 12 last night to check arrival details. Just weren't sure where he was flying from as he had several legs to his journey. Dd has nerves of steel to drive all that way last night and I'm so happy she got there :T thanks again x

good morning everyone.:) boys are disappointed, it didn't snow overnight and what little covering we did have has mostly gone:cool:, i am :j though as it means i don't have to struggle to get them back in after hours off playing in it, last time it was heavy here i played outside with them for hours building snowmen and snowball fighting but when i said to them it was time to go inside and warm up they refused and were asking to go straight back out
