Oh, explains why I never saw it :D
Luckily Lidl is only up the road so will go get my wellies on.
Mature is fine for sarnies so I better go get changed and wake DH up (he'll curse me for making him get up to do the morning feed just so I can go get cheese :D heehee)
Thanx for that, I hadn't realised it was only a weekend thing :)
    Morning,
Probably too late now but there is usually a thread on food and groceries board telling you what the weekend offers are, but they do vary for each location , you can check on lidls website each week

    Morning all

Misery guts is languishing in his pit after last night, he can stay there all day lol

Only thing I need to do today is clear the drive, but I might wait for the temp to get above 0 degrees so it should make it a bit easier to clear

Open bedroom window and a door to get a good draught going. Remove the quilt from the bed and hide it. Get wrapped up and go out shopping:D......shame you haven't got a couple of screaming kids to leave with him.

My Oh doesn't drink these days but I resorted to doing this to him back in the day....works a treat:D:rotfl:

Awake since 5.30 - snow lit up the bedroom :D

Youngest son got to work safely and text me when he arrived :T as suspected our lane is desperate but at east it didn't snow again in the night or do the thaw freeze. main road was clear though.

I would have driven youngest son up this morning if it had got worse over night. OH said last night I had no experience in driving in adverse weather conditions.
my reply was - No, I've absolutely no experience in driving in bad wether, no experience except for 2 decades of driving 3 kids on up to 4 trips each day, every single day, to and from play group, school, college, beavers, cubs, scouts,Xploreres, guides, drama group, cooking class, school clubs, music lessons, music exams, squash, tennis, badminton, swimming, library, scout camp, work, town, my parents etc etc etc and always in perfect wether, sun shining all the way :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Unfortunatley looking at the tracks on snow the lawn we have at least one rat in the garden yet again, thought I saw one last night. And they are living under next doors shed so we managed to stop her and tell her this morning before she went off. Her daughter has a dog and he always visits the shed when they come round so the dog must have know about the rat living underneath
Anyway we have some rat poison in readiness as well.

Ventured as far as Sada this morning. I got some pomegrate juice the other day, tried one last night and it tasted soapy so took them all back this morning. it's a receipt I'd not entered into the APG machine yet so not sure what to do with it now.

So that's it for the day.

    Morning

Up bright and early this morning. Not planning on venturing far as snow still fairly thick here. Might head to the park across the road with the sledge when DH home from work this afternoon. Until then will stay in the warm :)

My Boots order arrived earlier :j Packing was not very good, box was broken but thankfully all items were in there and in one piece. DS1 now busy playing in the box which has become a 'car' with the addition of 4 paper plates for wheels and one for a steering wheel :D Who needs expensive toys? ;)

My boots delivery was the same Logie. A huge box with no packaging and everything was rolling around inside. One of the sanctuary boxes contents were all out of the box. Nothing damaged thankfully. Not like boots at all, they must be too busy to pack the boxes properly.

Nice to hear you sounding so bright:)

Thanx for that, I'll have to have a nosey around later (I've not ventured to far into MSE yet). I've seen threads about Lidl and Aldi quite often but they usually contain stuff I don't need, this was the first one that mentioned something I did (I think I saw it over on another website) I just didn't pay attention to the date (been back and read it and it says weekend - d'oh!)
I will get the nak of this bargain shopping eventually :D
    Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
    Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000
    Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55

That is so brilliant, I've watched it 20 times! The fox is pretty much what my kitty did this morning when I let her out intot he snow.:rotfl:
